On board MS Quest sailing around Spitsbergen
Another stunning day in glorious weather.
Hardly any time to sort photos and write the blog.
Highlight was probably multiple sightings of a Bowhead whale. One of the largest and rarest whales. In the Svalbard area there have only been 46 sightings in the last 80 years so we were incredibly lucky to spot this individual and watch it for over an hour.
Earlier in the day we had great views of a range of birds including the rare Sabines Gull
